13-Year-Old Indian Girl Becomes The Youngest Female To Conquer The Everest!Article Comprehension:
  1. What did Malavath do? Malavath became the youngest female to climb to the summit of the world's highest peak - Mount Everest.
  1. Why does the author believe it is so admirable? Because she's really young and she's broken the words record  for youngest to climb mount everst
  1. What did she have to do to get selected for the Mount Everest climb?  It was therefore not surprising to hear that she was one of the twenty selected for the professional training session at the Darjeeling Himalayan Mountaineering Institute from October 26th to November 16th, 2013. At the end of the two-week period, only two youngsters were selected for the dangerous climb - Malavath was one of them!
  1. What happened when Malavath reached the advanced base camp?  It was not easy. In fact, Malavath was sent back to base camp after she experienced altitude sickness when she got to the advanced base camp set up at an altitude of 6,400 meters. However the determined youngster returned three days later, and insisted on continuing.
  1. How long did it take the team to get to the summit? It took 52 days for them to reach the top of the mountain.
  1. What does Malavath hope her achievement will do to help other people?  The young girl hopes that her achievements will inspire underprivileged people and girls all over the world, to try achieve their dreams.
